Chelsea says, “After I usually strike somebody out with a knuckleball, they sometimes start weeping back to the dugout, and a lot of them just like open their rima oris like they can’t believe it.” With 127 strikeout in sixty innings this past season, there probably have been a lot of open mouths and quite a few crying shed.

Every year Transparency International ranks nearly all countries in the world in its corruption Perceptions index . In 2009 the United States ranked . respectable nineteen out of 180. But within the United States there is considerable fluctuation Anyone who follows national news might make their own U.S. corruption Perceptions Index, with the sheer size of the scandal putt state like Illinois, Louisiana, and New York at the underside and seemingly happy places like Green Mountain State and IN at the top.

News land site The daily Beast conducted such . study for the fifty United States government states. They compiled information on public corruption, racketeering and extortion, forgery and counterfeiting, fraud, and misapplication from 1998 to 2008 and came up with . full ranking. New Hampshire came out on top with the best ratings. Tennessee takes the prize for most corrupt.

Like the CPI, the daily Beast ranking does not give much item on why different states landed where they did, although it does describe a “Recent Scandal” for each state. New Hampshire’s damning story is of two local men who were charged with mail and wire fraud . Some other scandalous account are of hodometer tampering and a woman who stole here? ex-husband’s checkbook and wrote herself $4,100 worth of bank check . There are also some surprises. Land of Lincoln is in fact one of the better-ranking states by the daily Beast’s measure, at number 47 of 51 . Apparently the Blagojevich saga only ran so deep.

Just like the CPI, ranking like the daily Beast’s are better for indentation neighbour against each other than comparing two very disparate entities. My own positive perspective of Vermont was apparently false, as Vermont ranked only 39 against New Hampshire’s crystal-clean number 51. But my home New York can be proud of its 24th place against only 21st for New Jersey. Washington State scraped by Oregon at 38th to 35th. South Carolina can self-praise its 9th place against North Carolina’s 5th. IN wins against Land of Lincoln 49th to 47th.

After the cost-of-living index is published , country representatives request meetings with those who put out the ranking in order to ask how they can move up the ladder Usually they are not looking at to move into the top place, but rather to surpass their main rival: Bulgaria vs. Romania, Algerie vs. Morocco, Lao People’s Democratic Republic vs. Kampuchea Such competition can spark positive action, leading to genuine change in hope of moving up those one or two muscae volitantes Do you think we can generate such positive competition here? Come on New York, you can beat Golden State next year!

The daughter of former Norseman soccer player Terje Gulbrandsen and former Norseman champion in Rhythmic gymnastics Ingrian Elise Gulbrandsen. Solveig is Espen Andreassen’s wife, and the mother of Theodor, who will be four-years-old on June 8.

A association football player’s life can be very hectic with training sessions, team meetings, and game to compete in all year long.

For all this, they have to make big sacrifices, such as not being at home often, missing valuable time with their families, or even start a home That is why most female association football player that want to have infant often think about what time of the year, or what year they want to measure off the field to become a mom.

Gulbrandsen decided to get pregnant after the 2005 UEFA Women’s euro tournament, which took place in June.

In 2006, there were no big tournaments besides World Cup qualifying, so that was a good year to have a baby “Yes, this was a planned pregnancy,” she said. “I wanted to still play soccer, so it was best to do it the year that there where not any big tournaments for the national team.”

It took her two months after the birth of her child, to get back on the field “But it took some time before I felt my body was the same again. I lost a wad of velocity and musculus ” she added.

Sometimes, after player have infant and they come back to play association football again. their physical structure don’t respond the way they used to, and it becomes difficult for the player to play at her fullest potency again. Gulbrandsen is, fortunately, not one of those players.

“I feel I’m back again, but I am becoming one of the more senior player in the game. I have played at the International level since I was 17, so I’m start to incur a wad of little harm I’m not used too, but I feel I still have a wad to contribute.”

“When I’m on the field, I’m a association football player, and Theodor know that. But outside of that, I’m a mother first. I love to take care of my son,” said Gulbrandsen about reconciliation being a mum during a tournament, or grooming camps. “When I was younger, I thought it was a crisis if I didn’t get enough slumber before a game or [ate] the right food But now I know that you can perform no matter what, if your mind is up for it.”

Her married man and son are living in the bay Area with her while she dramatic play for FC gold Pride. “We have kept very busy here, so we have no time to miss Norway We really like it here.”

Gulbrandsen love the fact that she can be a true association football mammy and even though it can be hard at times, having a child is very rewarding.

“I think having a child give you something else to focus on, not just soccer, and that is good He love me even if I don’t grade or play a min in the game. I think for the team it’s good to have children around. It get everyone in a good humour The disadvantage is I might not be as social as the younger girls,” she said.

With a very demanding job, and a schedule that is sometimes tentative, Gulbrandsen is making it work “To be a mum doesn’t have to prevent you from stretch your goal in life.”
